I designed this quilt as a wedding gift for my sister Eleanor in her wedding colors, hence the name of the pattern. I love how this pattern takes a basic 9-patch block and elevates it to something so much more elegant. By turning the blocks on point and seating them between sashing and contrasting cornerstones, the quilt takes on a whole new personality. This quilt looks fairly complex, but is actually very simple, making it perfect for even beginning quilters. The pattern can has options to make a 30 inch square or 60 inch square.
